Alex Alexander

Presenter, Actress, Master of Ceremonies[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]Hi, I’m Alex and I am 23 years old. I am a Kadazandusun Presenter, Actress and Master of Ceremonies. I’m from Kota Marudu and I’ve been acting and presenting in different productions since 2016 after winning the title of Unduk Ngadau Kota Marudu. I am very passionate about my culture, my work has always been about Sabah. I acted in a film that was purely in the Kadazan language, emceed/presented for Carrybeans during the 2017 Kaamatan Facebook live streaming and my presenting career have always been about
promoting environmental awareness specifically in Sabah.

What I Have Been Doing

Huminodun the movie was the first movie I acted in. I was casted after auditioning for the lead role on the 1st of June, right after Unduk Ngadau week was done in 2016

I was one of the anchors who presented/emceed during the Carrybeans’ Facebook Unduk Ngadau Live Streaming in 2017

I became the presenter for the second season of the online web series, Borneo Jungle Diaries. Going into the jungles in Kinabatangan to document the lives of scientists living there. The aim of the series is to promote environmental
awareness especially for the locals.

I’ve emceed for weddings in my career as well. Weddings can sometimes be tricky because I will have to interact directly with the audience especially if they request for me to announce the names of people they
want to sing.

I was one of the two emcees that hosted the State Level Sodop Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan 2019.

After shooting the Borneo Jungle Diaries series, the production company and I went to different schools around Kota Kinabalu to give talks about the series, environmental awareness and to promote the series.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
